Word Expander Software for Medical Professionals
I went through many reviews about this program WordExpander and all of them stated that once installed on your computer system, this program helps you everywhere you type. But I didn’t find any such thing anywhere, except on my Word document.
While this program is quite helpful, I did not find any logic behind adding the text manually in WordExpander. It would have been helpful if it contained some default shortcuts.
If you are into medical transcription field, WordExpander could be one of your favorite freeware as it contains the option of downloading the text shortcuts, often used in the medical industry. You can also download the auto-corrections library from the official website.
I have nothing to do with medial transcriptions but I downloaded the Auto-correction library and got 4173 words in my library. These words help me in writing, by auto correcting my spell mistakes.
As far as the functionality of WordExpander is concerned, it is one of the best software for people related to the health industry, in my opinion. If you belong to the health sector and write the patient’s reports often, you must download and install this program on your computer system. You can also download the library of Medical Phrases, Medical Words, Medical Terms, Drug Names and Biotechnological words.
Downloading the libraries is pretty simple.
- Click on Download Libraries. This will redirect you to WordExpander, select the library you want to download.
- Right click your mouse and click on ‘Save the link as’ and save the file on your system.
- Go to WorkExpander on your computer system and click on ‘Import Libraries’ and upload the downloaded libraries on your computer system.
WordExpander is specially designed for the medical professionals and health sector, and I must mention here that the program works brilliantly for them. With a very simple UI, WordExpander is a very helpful freeware for medical students as well. Go get it here.
