Pokemon White Version was developed by Game Freak, published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS console.
This game was initially released on 18 September 2010 in Japan as a pair with Pokemon Black Version which shares the same plot with minimal changes.
The story begins in Unova Region where the player(you) receives a gift box and a notice from Professor Juniper.
Professor Juniper offer you to choose a pokemon out of three that will ultimately become your starter pokemon.
Those three pokemon are – Fire-type Tepig, Grass-type Snivy, and Water-type – Oshawott.
Your other two friends will take the rest two pokémons.
Later you have to visit Professor Juniper Lab where you receive a Pokédex.
After getting your first pokémon, Pokédex and the Town Map you will go on a journey to explore the game and become the strongest in the region.
In your journey, you will fight various strong trainers and wild pokémons whom you can also catch one by throwing a Poké Ball.
At the moment you can store six pokemon in your team.
This game has improved a lot in terms of Graphics, Storyline, Character, and number of Pokemons available than the previous generation.
Pokemon White has an exclusive place known as the White Forest which is not available in any previous generation.
Features of Pokemon White
Catch other Pokemon –
After getting your first pokemon, you go on a journey to explore the game and become the strongest trainer in the region.
And to become the strongest trainer, you have to fight against strong challengers especially the Gym Leaders and Elite Four.
To make sure that your win against these strong competitors you have to make a team of powerful pokemon that can take the opponent down easily.
For making the team, you have to catch more pokemon.
You will encounter them while waking in the long grass or the forest.
As soon as you encounter a pokémon, the screen will change to fight mode, and the opponent Pokemon will appear on the upper right side with his HP Bar in the Left Top Side.
Whereas your Pokemon will appear on the Lower Right side with its HP Bar showing on the Lower Left side.
You will have fours options to choose from – FIGHT, BAG, POKÉMON, and RUN
If you want to fight the opponent, then select the FIGHT option which will further show you four moves that your pokemon can perform to harm the opponent.
For using a potion like Full Health Restore or for throwing a Poké Ball on the opponent you can use the BAG Option.
If you want to switch your current Pokémon with another one from your team, then select the POKÉMON option.
And Finally, if you don’t want to fight the opponent and want to flee then select the RUN option.
The rule is simple, If you get the opponent’s HP to zero, the opponent will fail, and you will win.
But if you want to catch the opponent then leave some of your opponent’s HP and throw a Poké Ball.
Battle Other Trainers –
As you go on in your journey, you will find various trainers like you who are willing to fight your pokemon.
You will find these trainers on the go, go near them and give them a challenge.
As you give a challenge, the mode will change to Battle Mode.
The Biggest advantage of doing such fight with other trainers is that your pokemon receive experience points.
The stronger the opponent, the more experience your pokemon gains and the faster he will level up.
Upon reaching a certain level, your pokemon will evolve into its next form that will unlock various new moves.
The Attacking power, defense, HP, etc. will also increase.
This game focuses more on Triple Battle than rotation battle which means you can release three of your pokemon and fight a 3vs 3 battle.
If you win a battle, then you will receive some money that you can use to buy equipment like potions and poké balls.
Battle Gym Leaders and Elite 4 –

If you win over all the eight Leaders, then you will have a total of eight batches that will be used to unlock the Pokèmon League.
